Perfect Match and Funny Faces

Greetings,

we had yet another photo shoot :) I got used to this, it is a lot of fun. Also tiring, I have to say! I never thought that modelling can be so much work. I don´t even do most of the things models do, like always eating healthy, exercising a lot, beauty treatments, etc.. But for that one day I try to pretend I can look somewhat similar to a model, I still get tired. High heels, cold weather, warm weather, dress changes, look here, look there, watch your expression, where are you looking at, stand still, move to the left, look to the right, aaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! :) It gets frustrating, yet still interesting and fun.

This dress is my sister´s work, again. She did so much awesome clothing so far, I am glad I can be a part of her "fashionista" journey. :P I know she will do great things :) Happy B-Day, sis **

We were photographing in a small village, near to an old old house. No one has lived there for many years, it is falling apart actually, but it was the perfect scene for presenting this dress. The colours on the wall and the dress complimented each other, so they were a perfect match.

When we were done with the official photo shoot, we made a few different photos with this little cutie. This was my favourite part of the day, making funny faces with Aleks, my boyfriend´s little brother. What an awesome kid, he is very smart and goofy, funny and so adorable.

In all, it was a very lovely day, we had fun.

History of the Silent

Greetings,

here are the last photos of our photo shoot. I mean the last "official" photos. There are a lot more of them and maybe I will post them as /behind the scenes/, because I like a lot of them! :D Sometimes I am even smiling in them :) My sister made a huge deal about this, I CANNOT SMILE in these photos. CANNOT look happy. I know, I understand. Fashion. In real life I am joking and laughing a lot though.

I miss vacation! I am fantasising about cold salty sea water, sand beaches, volleyball and cold drinks with little umbrellas :) I would love to go somewhere quiet and relaxing. Maybe next month. I will find a cheap deal for a little Getaway. I am checking out deal as I write :) The best thing for me NOW it would be to go to a hotel, so that I don't have  to cook or clean :) Also I want to be very near to the beach! I love swimming. I love Sea water. I love snorkeling. I love everything about "Sea" vacation :) In the mornings I would go for a run on the beach, drink yummy smoothies, eat a lot of watermelon and seafood. Yummm. Oh, my god, this is going to be awesome! I am sooo ready ;)

Gosh, I don't have time to go yet. Work is to blame. Talk, talk, talk and no action. Next month. Definitely!

Oh, enough fantasising..

Here is the description of this collection:

Forgotten Shadows

Greetings,

what is it about these cloudy days that everyone looks so sad and grumpy? Hmmm.. Let´s blame the weather! I feel like that´s the main reason for everything these days. It has become this last resort, when people have nothing to talk about. Or no one to blame.. So here it goes..
The weather here is very moody these days and it looks like it has a weird effect on people. We are all moody. This is were this nice quote I like comes to mind:

"Women are not moody. We simply have days we are less inclined to put up with your shit."

OK, so in this exact moment I am in a very good mood. I am going home soon, I am having a great time living with my boyfriend on our own, I am happy.

I have been thinking about something lately. I have these moments when I am doing something and I think: "WoW, I should really blog about this!" But then I remember, I have no photos of this. And then I am like, with no photos this would not be interesting. So I don't post a lot of great stuff! So sorry about this. So I decided I am going to write down, what I liked in the last two weeks:
1. I was at a Fashion Show
2. We had a cook out with my family, twice :) Well, once with my family and once with my boyfriends' family. It was so nice, one night we even had fire torches and a bonfire :) So awesome!
3. I made a few litres of elderflower syrup with lemons. Yummy
4. I saw a great sunset in Ljubljana. It was on a windy day, the sky was blue, yellow and pink at the same time. I cannot even describe it.
5. I went shopping! :) I should write a little haul post. I have a blast every time I go shopping.

OK, so that's that about my random thoughts.. Lets get serious; Here are the photos of Nina´s fourth winter coat.

At Castle Grey

Greetings,

how are you guys doing? I have been reading a lot of your posts last week and I enjoy a lot of them. I mean, there a just sooooo many.. I wish I had more time :) I love posts about cute interior design ideas, cute outfits and art. I loved this one post where someone painted their door bright yellow. It looks so cute, it makes me happy every time I look at it. I watched this movie last year - Safe Haven, where the girl painted the floor bright yellow. It looked so pretty and I had thoughts about doing something similar, but I haven't figured out yet what I want to paint over. But I will. And it will make me happy :)

OK, so here is part 3 of our photoshoot. We were shooting at a cemetery and a castle in my hometown. The locations were chosen by my sister and our photographer. They made really good choices. They are both very talented :)

Personally, I love this coat! It looks so great, the details are awesome. I mean, I'm no expert, but I really do like it. This black pants are also custom made. I am so proud of my sister, who knew she had it in her. Great work!

Black Cemetery Story

Greetings,

it is Friday! Finally! I am going to get some rest and catch up with my art. I have been working a lot lately. I am getting used to it and I do like my job, but sure do like my weekends too :)

I already started to post pictures from my photo shoot, so here is another one. We were shooting at an old cemetery. It really is a great place to take pictures, it has a lot of history, being an old Jewish cemetery. I don´t really like cemeteries though. I have a lot of respect for the people resting there and seeing the dates of how long they lived it kinda makes me wonder. How did they live? Were they happy? Loved? Did they suffer? I get really sad when I see a grave of a child. I don´t know why I wonder about their stories, death is the faith of all of us. Maybe that's exactly why. It is so final. Or is it? Oh well.. I think too much.

So, despite of my weird thoughts, we had a great time. We weren't loud or anything, but we did laugh. There was this one thing; Danijela was taking pictures and there was this plant that bothered her. It was in the way and it kept messing up the pictures. She went and laid it on the ground. My parents weren´t there at that moment. When they came back we were already a few steps away taking pictures. I was concentrating, looking all serious and with the corner of my eye I see my step dad moving the plant. I burst out laughing, it was so funny. Well, you had to be there, I guess :P

It was raining at times, so my parents held an umbrella above the camera, when needed. I was a bit cold and I had to change my clothes right there. Not pleasant. But I did get a yummy latte machiatto :)
My sister´s collection is really amazing, so here it goes.

Urban Rainy Day

Greetings,

I had a really nice time this Easter with my family. We ate delicious food and had a great time together. I got a few great gifts (candy and money) too. :) We also did a little bit of work-fun :) My sister Nina took part in Fashion Week Ljubljana with her winter coats collection and it looked great. She worked really hard and our little photo shoot was the last touch for her school project. My mother helped her a lot, with the sewing. She was also a great assistant at our photo shoot. She bought a yummy coffee to go :) I was the model (glad to help).

Nina Bohar´s collection is called IN LINE. Starting point for her line was sustainability and she used only used fabric and old coats, that were given to her. All of the fabric used in this collection is recycled. She got her inspiration from architecture, buildings ans staircases.

The photographer was Danijela Grof, who has a really good eye for photography.

This is Nina´s fashion spread.

Simple Outfit for a Rainy Day

Greetings,

Although it is already spring, it can still be a bit chilly. I wear my UGG´s in autumn, winter and spring time :) I love coloured jeans, because they brighten up my whole look. Otherwise in have a lot of grey, brown and military green clothes. Here is my way of travelling in this rainy weather.

I got this red pants from New Yorker, where I also found this military green spring coat from last season and I payed only 19,99 EUR. Yay, I love sales ;)
Black Shoulder bag and this cute, a little bit shiny pullover are from Ann Christine, in Graz.

Hope you like it.
